Hello, the name is Vet, or you can call me Granny Mam. I am a widow with lots of wonderful children and grand children. I have a wonderful great grandson named Gavin, and he is the apple of my eye, just as his mother has always been! I am very young at heart, I love all kinds of music except for the kind with the vulger language in it, as a matter of fact, I don't know why they try to call it music, but for the most part,I love music, period! I love Casting Crowns, Point of Grace, Mercy Me, just too many to list, and Green River Ordinance is my favorite right now. Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington and a few more are the actors I totally love. and I just love life in general.Being a Christian, I surely want my light to shine so that all the world will know who my Father is, He is the rock that I lean on, and He sent me my sweet girl who always takes time to have fun with her Granny mam. Looking forward to the week-end with her and Gav.Gav's Dad is a really neat guy and I love him but he has to work this weekend.
Ok, so this is my first personal blog, so don't really know what I am going to do with it! Today was a good day! I got news today that I would have my water fixed in the next couple of days, which is just the greatest blessing!
My pipe broke under my house on Dec. 7th, so this has been a long run, of going here and there to take showers, just a real pain in the butt, so I try to stop and think about others. There are not only people in third world countries who do not have running water, but right here in the United States, and that breaks my heart.
That is why I haven't been whining about it, there is always someone else who is worse off, when you take the time to look around.
I am a Christian and love doing God's work, so I volunteer when I am feeling ok. This Sat. I will be going with my church to pass out socks to the homeless.
I wish we were going tomorrow, since we are expecting ice and sleet in this area, for the next couple of days, I know those people are going to be cold. So, I will get back to you all, I pray you all are warm and safe!!Caio
